Rajeev Khanolkar, Co-founder and President, Net-Com Systems

Rajeev Khanolkar co-founded NetCom Systems with Niten Ved. Rajeev brings over 25 years of experience in technology and IT management to his role as Co-Founder and President. Rajeev served as CEO of netForensics from May 1999 to Sept 2005 after which he returned to NetCom Systems as President.

Prior to NetCom Systems, Rajeev held a number of senior management positions in organizations like Xecute Information Systems, Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association and General Electric Corporation Turbine Generators. He holds a Master of Science in Thermodynamics from the University of Birmingham, Great Britain and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India. Khanolkar is also a Charter Engineer Member of Institute of Engineering, UK.

Ambarish Malpani, Vice President of Engineering & CTO, Cenzic

Prior to Cenzic, Ambarish founded ValiCert, Inc., where he was responsible for product development, architecture and standards efforts. He has worked extensively at IETF and is responsible for both the Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) and Simple Certificate Validation Protocol (SCVP). He also developed the first OCSP responders. While at ValiCert, Ambarish was also responsible for doing the first port of the Apache web server to Windows NT, which he then contributed back to the Apache group.

Ambarish got his Masters in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) and his Bachelors in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay).

Sanjay Uppal, President and CEO, Caymas

Sanjay has been responsible for Caymas Systems product development, marketing, customer service and business development organizations and was instrumental in defining the business and technical requirements of the Identity-Driven Access Gateway.

Prior to joining Caymas Systems, he was Senior Vice President of Products at Silvan Networks and at Webvan where he was Vice President of Engineering and Business Development responsible for the company’s unprecedented multi-city data center, network architecture, deployment, and extension of the shopping experience to mobile appliances. Sanjay spent the first twelve years of his career at Hewlett-Packard. His last position at HP was General Manager of the Internet Infrastructure Division.

Sanjay holds a BSEE from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, India, an MS in ECE from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and a Master’s in Management of Technology from Stanford University.
